Speaker Events
Attendees learned from renowned experts who shared groundbreaking insights into aging science through inspiring keynotes and interactive Q&A sessions.

This session of the "Inside Aging" Nucleate Thematic Series covered the role of ventures and startups in the longevity biotech space. ft. Lada Nuzhna, Alex Colville, PhD, and Steve Robinette, PhD, and Justin Olshavsky, PhD

This session of the "Inside Aging" Nucleate Thematic Series focused on the use of aging clocks, omics technologies, and computational tools in aging research. ft. Steve Horvath, PhD, and Alan Tomusiak, PhD

In this "Inside Aging" Nucleate Thematic Series, Nir Barzilai, Joan Mannick, and Matt Kaeberlein discuss opportunities and necessary next steps for advancing therapeutics addressing the underlying mechanisms of aging as well as related physical and cognitive decline.

Participants learned from co-founders Laura Deming and Hunter Davis as well as members of the team discuss their story, progress thus far, and some of the most challenging outstanding technical problems. Participants also met and chat with team after presentation and Q&A.

This session of the "Inside Aging" Nucleate Thematic Series featured keynote speakers Eric Verdin and Martin Borch Jensen. This panel provided an overview of the aging biology field and the lanscape of longevity biotech. Viewers learned more about opportunities to get involved with this emergent space at the bench and beyond!

Professor Vadim Gladyshev explored the concept of the deleteriome—the accumulation of stress and damage during aging—and highlighted groundbreaking work on epigenetic clocks, revealing new targets and interactions implicated in aging.

Alex Colville, Ph.D., Co-founder of Age1, explored insights into navigating venture capital and biotech, with a Q&A session providing valuable perspectives for everyone from biotech enthusiasts to those involved in start-ups.

Professor Arthur Kleinman, M.D. led a thought-provoking discussion on the role of social technology—such as assistive and companion robotics, AI assistants, and biotech—in combating isolation, supporting caregivers, and enhancing mobility for aging populations.

The Aging Initiative kicked off an inspiring conversation and Q&A featuring Dr. George Church, HMS professor and founder of over 50 biotech companies, where attendees learned about aging, the organization’s goals, its future direction, and ways to get involved.

Dr. Yang Huanming, Co-founder of the Beijing Genomics Institute, shared insights as one of China’s leading genetic researchers and entrepreneurs. Attendees gained valuable perspectives on groundbreaking advancements in genomics and the global impact of genetic research.
